Marion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard is featured on the cover of AnOther Magazine's February issue which is shot by Craig McDean. You can view an excerpt of the cover story and limited edition cover here. She photographs so well and she is such a beautiful woman. I love this editorial.

I love almost everything about this shoot. It's sexy and the styling is simple but a bit raunchy.

Altuzarra

Joseph Altuzarra definitely got his inspiration for the Fall 2010 collection from one of my favorite movies, Edward Scissor Hands. Once again we see velvet(hint hint). Love the leather bodysuit Abbey is wearing!!!

Tribute

Alexander Wang

Wang went to Wall street for inspiration for his new Fall 2010 collection. He said it was " about growing up, about progress". His collection is a bit more sophisticated but it's definitely not a far cry from his usual style. The chic edge that he always effortlessly provides is still visible.

Wang mixed all forms of velvet, even chenille, with tailcoats, cropped blazers and vests. Thigh high leg warmers were even present and were worn pulled down over the models heels. Now that is definitely a trend that we will be seeing this fall. Backpacks with crisscrossed straps give a sexy bondage feel.

Rag & Bone

I spoke to soon! I loved every look from the Rag & Bone show. Their mixture of tweed, knits and plaid were beautiful to the eye. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville said that their inspiration for the Fall 2010 collection was "crazy English guys who climbed Mount Everest in the twenties in tweed."

The accessories were killer also. The hiking boots, backpacks, knit sacks and belts with miniature pouches hanging from them to hold all of a fashionistas gadgets and other necessities.

Sex and Edge

These are some of my favorite looks from Cushnie et Ochs. Their show featured models by Chadwick Tyler and some of the best hair and make up yet. I wish I could have seen this show in person...

It's very rare that I can honestly say that I enjoyed some ones complete runway look, you'd have to be really spectacular like Alexander McQueen to get that statement out of me. Fashion isn't just about the clothes, it's an art form. A way to inspire others and take the viewer to another world... one where dreams do actually come true.

I'll be posting some more of my fave FW looks when I run across them.
