This fall designers took inspiration from past decades; the 50's, 60's, and 70's. I have to say that even though I live in Texas and we have a long way to cooler weather, I am anticipating this upcoming season. The classic lines and staple worthy pieces are pure inspiration and will last for many seasons to come. This shopping season I will definitely purchase some classic pieces over the more trendier ones that will only last one season.
From the 50's we see pencil skirts, cropped sweaters and beautiful sheath dresses; from the 60's we see A- line skirts and beautiful prints. One of my all time favorite trends from this fall were the 70's inspired looks on runways like Chloe. Silk blouses, wide leg trousers, slouchy boots and the return of camel toned outerwear will all be present on the streets. And who can forget the ultimate accessory, White tights/leggings.
